We have been SICK in our house! First, E came down with the "toddler crud" (coughing, runny nose, sore throat, fever). Then Nick caught it, and then my Dad caught it. I have a kidney infection, this is the funny..or, I guess, not so funny part. A week and a half ago, I was rushing around at work, going to meetings, drinking good ol' Starbucks coffee to keep me awake, and driving downtown to Good Sam (a hospital in Phoenix) to assist in teaching. I did not pee all day because I was so busy (too much information, you decide). Here's the funny part... we were teaching... wait for it, wait for it... kidney diseases! And, the work-a-holic I am, I did not pee the whole day, and got a kidney infection while teaching about kidney infections. Ha, ha, ha... hum. Ok, not so funny, actually probably a bit distrubing. I will drink lots of water in the future, and take better care of myself, I promise!!
