There is nothing better I like than the start of weekend. Although laundry awaits and random items needs to be put in their place, the weekend symbolizes time with my little family. We were thinking of going "up north" this weekend, we will see what comes of that. "Up north" to us means Flagstaff, and I know there is much more to explore "up north" in Arizona. What other state can you be in the desert, then two hours later be back in the pines and in nice, 75 degree weather?! Phoenix is about 5 hours from LA, 5 hours from Vegas, and 5 hours from the Grand Canyon... pretty cool.
But, the heat is getting to us, just a bit.
But I keep reminding Nick, "You don't have to shovel the heat. And remember when you had to use the snow blower to plow me out of 5 feet of snow so I could work the 11p-7a shift? Do you remember all this?!?" Ah!! Heat, in my opinion, trumps snow any day!
Yet, I do like the first snow of the season. You can smell it in the air... snow coming. That was fun.
Well, anyway, the weekend is here, and the relaxing begins, NOW! :)
