Well this is going to be a big week.
1. Monday: 7 new employees start this week (this number is small in comparison to the previous weeks, believe it or not)
2. Monday: Finish all the last minute details for the 1A move to 5 South.
3. Tuesday: 1A moves to 5 south--brand new unit (28 beds to 40). This the third move of four increasing our service line from 88 beds to 130. We have about 330 staff members in the Progressive Care service line.
4. Tuesday: Meet with the Chief Nursing Officer for Shared Leadership updates (Shared Leadership focuses on employee empowerment through patient-centered projects).
5. Tuesday: OB appointment, routine.
6. Wednesday: Breathe? Not a chance...pack for Illinois, Grandma's memorial.
7. Thursday-Sunday: Illinois: Memorial, clean out the house, cry...emotional! I have never been there when she is not there.
8. Somewhere in there sleep!

Good luck with the crazy week - I think this is the week I get my life back after a few crazy ones. I'll be thinking about you guys and hoping that it all goes smoothly. Tell the fam I say hi!
