Hi!
So I get a call this morning, as I am teaching a class, that E has hit her head pretty hard(has a goose egg) at preschool on the playground equipment and then vomited after. I pick her up right away, and then begins the coordination of care.
-I pick up.
-Lots of hugs, kisses, icepack, Tylenol, and cinnamon melts from McDonalds, and Kai-Lan on Noggin. All the favs and Rx for a sore head.
-Nick comes home. I go back to work (new hires and another class to teach).
-We meet at Cactus Children's Clinic (being the Neuro Nurse I am, a neuro eval was warranted by a pediatric professional). All is well, close monitoring required. Check. Will do! :)
-Lunch
-Work from home.
-Done.
What a strange and fast paced day. My baby girl is fine though, thank goodness!
She said, "I know I will be okay for our trip (back to Syracuse)." She has been looking forward to this trip for weeks and is already packed!
Take care! I wonder what tomorrow holds... Hopefully just "the norm."
