Trinder 3.5

My sister-in-law wrote an email today, and she called us "the Trinder 3.5." I thought that was so fitting and cute! I miss my in-laws so much, and look forward to getting my Trinder fix in just a few, short weeks. I need to be on Trinder Farm and breathe the air and take in the beauty of 400 rolling acres of beautiful farm land. I always feel at peace there, until Dad Trinder starts looking for something in the office and shouts, "Elaine... honey..." Totally cute, and I look foward to that too. You miss that sort of stuff when you are away.

Here is what I am looking forward to...
Going on a tour of all the new items on the farm with Dad Trinder.
Going shopping with Mom Trinder (and her cooking, my mouth waters thinking about her cooking....).
I want to grab a Starbucks with Nick's sister, Melissa, and catch up on her life.
I love to watch my husband light up as he talks sports with his brother, Jeff.

Karen, Ed, and the kids will be away camping in VA that same weekend, :-( I will miss them!!

On another note, when you marry into a large family (being raised a singleton), it can be overwhelming and a little intimidating. But I can honestly say I feel part of them; very loved, very accepted. I am a Trinder. They are amazing people who made Nick the person he is today, and I am so thankful for every part each of them have in his life.

Looking forward to being "back home!"

I would be in heaven to be on a farm that big. I love the quiet. Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Somehow I would like to get your email address. I never now where to comment back to!

Good luck in Illinois, it's hard to go through people's belongings. You may come back with some closer and more memories.
