PS

I just watched "PS I Love You." I cried! What a great movie about love and loss. I was very moved. It reminded me of when I first met Nick (since the characters first met when they were young).

I thought I would share our "first meeting" story...

First Meeting:
Rebecca Klossner (age 16) and I (age 17) were mad at Randy and Krista for something neither of us can remember now. But we decided to leave Randy's house and go to RJ Fetzner's house to hang out... even though we had never been there before (or for that matter been back since).
We drove my Mom's red, dodge caravan to Fabius. I am pretty sure I was 17 (because in NY you could drive after 9pm at 17 if you took driver's ed).
After we were there for a little while, in comes Nick Trinder: dyed blonde hair, earring, a tattoo, and so funny! To me, the room lit up when he walked in, and I was drawn to him instantly.

We all piled in the van and went to Tully for coffee at the gas station, and somewhere in there we stopped in Fabius at the bowling alley (no longer there). I am sure a Sublime/Ani mix tape was playing on the tape player.
I will never forget that night.

I love Nick so much, and to remember the first time we met is something I'll always cherish. He still lights up a room for me. His honesty, humor, and open heart make him the great husband, father, and best friend I still adore... 11 years later.
