Seven Years, No Itch!

Monday, I will be married to Nicholas Kevin Trinder for 7 years.

I adore this sweet, funny, loving, and handsome man.

We have done so much together since the we first started dating in 1999 and married in 2003. We have grown from two teenagers into mature adults and parents.

Our friends who were dating or married since high school have ended their relationships. But we keep on going, strong as ever. We have lasted because we have communicated, grown together (not apart), took risks (moving and traveling all over the country!), respect each other, and truly honor our vows. The road has not always been smooth, but we stand by each other. We are not perfect by any means, but perfect for each other. There is great comfort in being completely authentic and honest with someone. Someone who calls you out on your "stuff," but unconditionally loves you regardless. That is Nick for me, a true mate for my soul. I love him more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.
