Happy 4th of July!

Today Nick, Elayna, and I had a fun-filled, family day! It started with Dunkin Donuts coffee and bagels. Then we went to Barnes and Noble to hang out. For all you parents out there trying to beat the heat, take your kiddos to Barnes and Noble's Junior section. There is story time, a train set for the kids to play with, and, of course, lots and lots of BOOKS! E prefers the Dora and "eggo" (Diego) book best... Spanish preferably.... "the end, mommy." Then, Miss E got tired (above). "Mommy, stop picture, NOW! Stop it!" Ah, I just had to capture this moment... Look at the harness... all jacked up, she is pissed!! :-)
Now onto to "Yah-Yah" and "Norm's" house (aka my parents) for a cook out, swimming, and fireworks. My parents surprised E with a new swimsuit and BOAT for their pool! She was thrilled. Growing up my parents always had a surprise each holiday, such fun!! Thank you both for the great gift for the 4th of July!
Here we are, just two girls enjoying the day!
Great pictures, Nick.
Hope you had a happy and safe 4th of July holiday. Remember, if you love your freedom, thank a veteran. Thank you Dad, Norm Jr., Grandpa Charlie, Uncle Bob, Larry, Bud and last, but not least, my beloved Grandpa O'. Miss you everyday, Grumpa!
God Bless!
