My Blah-Blahs

Happy 29th Birthday, Liza!
Tonight the Blah-Blahs (from left to right: Shannon, me, Sarah, and Liza) met at North in Scottsdale to celebrate Liza's 29th birthday. It's our tradition to meet for each other's birthdays (April, July, October, and December). The birthday girl gets to choose the location.
These are my best friends from college. We are all registered nurses who graduated from Grand Canyon University.
Whenever I leave one of these dinners, I am always a little sad. I know that I won’t see the whole group again until the next birthday dinner… work, kids, and where we each live in the Valley make it hard to get together. But for the two hours during our Blah-Blah birthday dinners, it’s just the girls. We’re in our own little world of support, laughter, and honesty. It’s very refreshing, and I feel lucky to have such amazing girlfriends. We’ve changed since we first met in 2001, and we’re all finding our own place in the world. But we know that through it all; the laughter and those times when the tears fall, we’ll be there for each other. No matter what happens, nothing will ever change so much that we are not all still friends.
Love ya’ girls,
Noey
