Grandma O'Brien Update

We received a call from hospice today saying that my Grandma O'Brien was displaying agonal breathing patterns, garbled speech, symptoms likely of another stroke, wheezing, and completely bed-bound. I picked up E from preschool and my parents at their house after work. We all drove to see my Grandma. She, in my opinion, has 3 weeks to 6 weeks left of life. Her skin is cool on her legs, yet she is very warm on her head and arms. She does not have mottling. It's sad on many levels. The hospice nurse said this is Pre, Pre-Death.
We will continue to put all of this is God's hands. At times, it's a little too overwhelming to think about.
I can't believe in a short while I will have no living Grandparents. Is this possible? Am I all grown up now? No more trips to Grandma and Grandpa's house with dinner on the table and gifts on my own bed in my room at Grandma's (Which never changed my whole life...although my parents and I moved throughout 7 states, that house and that room remained wonderfully unchanged.)
I am now the mother of a daughter who has her own room at Grandma's... So the circle of life continues.
Will keep you all updated.
